Welcome to the website of DOGS-East Search and Rescue. DOGS-East is a professional volunteer wilderness Search and Rescue organization serving primarily the Mid-Atlantic Region and on-call for natural disasters in the continental United States.

DOGS-East Search and Rescue for missing persons is an emergency resource.
If you have an emergency, please contact your local authorities or call 911.
If you are a state or local agency and need our assistance, please contact the LE number listed below. If we are unable to answer, please leave a message with your name, agency, callback number, and a brief description of the request. We will return your call as soon as possible. If unable to contact us, we may also be requested directly through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) at (804) 674-2400.
