Quantico Training Area 8 (Joplin area) (VA Gazetteer, Page 76, C-2) From I-95: Exit 148 West (Russell Road) Follow Russell Road for about 2 miles and go through the check-point security. Tell the Marine guards you are heading to train at TA-8. Proceed another mile and a half and turn left at the Fire Station. Continue on this road until you come to the stop sign for Camp Barrett. Take a left, parking will be in front of the gym. If you come from Route 610 on to Onville Road, follow to the Camp Barrett gate. Tell the Marine guards you are heading to train at TA-8. Go right at the first stop sign, left at the second stop sign and park in front of the gym. Camp Barrett SPEED LIMIT IS 15 MPH everywhere! |
